Sarah Steed is a muralist and illustrator from Minneapolis Minnesota. She began painting murals in the seventh grade and has traveled coast to coast studying and creating art ever since. She received a BA in Art from the University of Minnesota in 2007. Her undergraduate degree was a complex integration on training from multiple schools including Parsons in New York, Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minnesota, and Laguna College of Art and Design in California.

Sarah designs and paints custom work for people’s homes and businesses. She has worked with organizations such as Juxtaposition Arts, the Children’s Defense Fund of Minnesota, el Colegio Charter High School, and the Walldogs. She believes that art is vital to the health of a community and enjoys working with young adults and participating in neighborhood mural projects.
